Approved Supplemental Insurance

ASSURA

Is the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu a partner of Assura?

Yes, but only for the “Ultra” product range. For these products, Assura and the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu have an agreement on the pricing of the hospital services for your stay. Upon receiving your file, our services will notify your insurer of your upcoming admission. The clinic will then receive a decision from your insurance regarding the coverage of your hospitalization’s costs. This means that, following your stay, the clinic will issue its invoice to your insurance, which will pay it directly to the clinic (third-party billing).

If you have an Assura “Optima” product, the clinic does not have an agreement with your insurer, the costs will not be covered.

What about medical fees?

Assura has reached an agreement with the Association of Doctors of the Canton of Geneva for the medical fees. If your doctor adheres to the negotiated rate, the fees will be fully reimbursed by your insurance (subject to co-payment or deductible depending on your contract). The medical fees will be sent to you directly (third-party guarantee) and you will need to submit them to your insurance for reimbursement.

What should I do?

You do not need to take any action. Our services will take care of obtaining a full coverage guarantee from your insurer.

Do I have to make a deposit?

No. With a guarantee of full coverage for hospitalization costs issued by your insurance, the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu does not require any deposit.

What is the situation with the Clinic’s outpatient services?

The outpatient services of the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu remain accessible to all and at all times without limitation of reimbursement.

CONCORDIA

Is the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu a partner of CONCORDIA?

Yes. CONCORDIA and the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu have an agreement on the pricing of the hospital services for your stay.

What about medical fees?

CONCORDIA has not yet reached an agreement with the Association of Doctors of the Canton of Geneva and may limit the reimbursement of medical fees. The doctors you have chosen will submit a quote to you, and your insurance will inform you of the amount it will cover. Depending on your insurance's decision, you may still have to pay an amount. The medical fees will be sent to you directly (third-party guarantee) and you will need to submit them to your insurance for reimbursement up to the guaranteed amount.

What should I do?

You will receive a decision from your insurer indicating the extent of the coverage of the fees quoted for your intervention. We invite you to send us the decision made by your insurer, indicating whether the intervention should be maintained or not.

Do I have to make a deposit?

No. With a guarantee of full coverage for hospitalization costs issued by your insurance, the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu does not require any deposit.

Will this situation continue?

As long as the billing of the medical fee is not based on a contractual agreement, there may be a difference between the amount billed by your doctor and the reimbursement ceiling set by your insurance.

CSS

Is the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu a partner of CSS?

Yes. CSS and the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu have an agreement on the pricing of the hospital services for your stay.

What about medical fees?

A sector agreement has been in place with CSS since 10 June regarding the pricing of medical fees. The invoices will be sent directly to you (third-party payment system). You will then need to forward them to your insurance company for reimbursement.

What should I do?

Ask your doctors about their billing practices. If they comply with the existing industry agreement (Medicalculis model), your insurer will cover the full cost of the bills issued and you will not have to pay anything. If they bill for their services using a different model, their services must be subject to a prior estimate. Will this situation continue?

We hope that the medical profession will quickly and widely adopt the existing industry agreement. No. If your insurance provides a guarantee of full coverage for hospitalization costs, Clinique Générale-Beaulieu does not require any deposit.

Will this situation remain the same?

We hope for broad and swift adoption of the existing industry agreement by the medical community.
